Terms & Conditions 

These terms & conditions must be read through and agreed by the customer before making an appointment . This is to ensure that customers know my business terms and will abide by them when agreeing to the terms & conditions. It also includes my safety while grooming / washing your dog. Once you have booked and agreed to the terms and conditions ( ticked the box ) this means that you have agreed and will follow the T&C's. 

Cancellations & Appointment Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule your pup’s grooming appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with the changes.

As a small, family-owned business, we greatly appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations. If sufficient notice is not provided, the following fees will apply:

  • Within 48 hours of the appointment: 50% of the booked service fee

  • Within 24 hours of the appointment: 100% of the booked service fee

 

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will always do our best to accommodate your situation where possible.

Pricing Policy
The service you book is the service that will be charged. If additional services are requested during the appointment, these will incur extra charges, which will be discussed with you at the time.

Please note: if a full groom is booked but only a partial service (e.g., a tidy-up, wash & blow-dry) is required, the full groom price will still apply, as sufficient time has been reserved specifically for that service.

Disclaimer of behaviour:

At Dirty Doggies, we understand that some pups may feel unsettled or anxious when away from their home environment. If your pup has any behavioural concerns, we kindly ask that you inform us in advance.

While your pup may not usually display these behaviours at home, it is common for dogs to feel nervous, scared, or reactive in unfamiliar surroundings. This may include behaviours such as anxiety, growling, or nipping. Providing us with this information ahead of time allows our groomers to work around your pup’s individual needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for both your pup and our team.

We are happy to work with pups who require extra care, patience, and handling. Please note that additional fees may apply for this service, and this will be discussed with you prior to the appointment.

If you have any concerns, please contact us so we can support your pup and help make their grooming experience as positive as possible. Regular grooming is important, and our goal is for every Dirty Doggy to leave feeling happy, relaxed, and well cared for.

Matted & fleas 

If your dog has matting, an additional fee starting from $30 may apply. This covers the extra time, care, and equipment required to ensure your dog’s comfort and safety during the grooming process.

If you are aware that your dog has fleas, we kindly ask that you inform us in advance. In these cases, appointments will be scheduled at the end of the day to allow sufficient time for thorough cleaning and disinfection.

All dogs that arrive with fleas will be treated. An additional fee of $50 will be charged, which includes the flea treatment and the time required to properly disinfect our equipment and grooming space to ensure it remains safe for all dogs.

Late Payments 

All invoices are issued with a due date, which is 7 days from the date of your appointment. This due date will be clearly stated on your invoice.

If payment is not received within this 7-day period, a late payment fee will be applied.

 

The late fee will be 50% of the outstanding balance, added to the original invoice amount.
